This course covers the correct procedure for putting on and removing personal protective equipment (PPE) in the clinical setting. Students will learn the correct sequence for donning gowns, gloves, masks, and eye protection, as well as the safe removal sequence to prevent self-contamination. Correct donning and doffing technique is fundamental to infection prevention and control in all healthcare environments.
